Securing Your Locker with a High Quality Padlock

 

To secure your locker, we require you buy your padlocks from Lockitt and secure them to your locker. We ordered 100 locks needed for securing your lockers 40% off from Lockitt and will not mark up the retail price. We will charge a nominal fee of about a dollar per lock on top of the 40% off retail price for shipping and handling fees. We are negotiating the first shipment of locks for our new customers and expect to have the locks by August 7, 2015. We require all padlocks be on all lockers by August 31, 2015 to be in company compliance. The ABUS 24IB/70 24 Series padlock will be the only lock we maintain in inventory for purchase after August 7, 2015. If you would like to secure your belongings with the ABUS Diskus Padlock 20 Series 20-70 with Plus Key, shown below, we will order one for you on a case by case request basis. It is our expectation that at the very least, any locker renter will maintain the ABUS 24IB/70 24 Series padlock featured below. It is the lock with the blue plastic cover for the keyhole.

 

We recommend anyone renting a locker from us utilize the following lock as shown below: the ABUS24IB/70 24 Series Diskus padlock. There is another lock below the one featured below, which we also recommend to our customers. The price of the locks shown below are $25.00 for the ABUS 24IB/70 24 Series and $27.95 for the ABUS Diskus Padlock 20 Series 20-70. The pricing for the ABUS 24IB/70 24 Series has changed due to a price increase issued by the vendor Lockitt. We apologize for the inconvenience of providing a lower rate on that lock earlier this year.

 

New Farm Gate Lock Available August 31, 2015

 

Due to vandalism and theft being reported in the area experienced by storage facilities, we have implemented locked farm gates. On August 31, 2015 a new farm gate chain and padlock will be installed on the farm gates. If a current customer is renting a locker and cannot pass a criminal background check, no key will be provided to the customer and they will be asked to voluntarily vacate their locker.

 

A new key to the English lock being made for AAA Mini Storage will be provided to any locker renter who authorizes a new contract and is able to submit to a criminal background check and also pass the check. We we will require new contracts on file and the criminal background check to be completed before we distribute a key to the new English farm gate lock, which is being ordered and custom made in England at this time.
